This is a really fun craft to use with the new Dr. Seuss book, What Pet Should I Get?
What is included:
- 1 pet (the bunny)
- a simple writing activity has been prepared which can be placed on the back of the pet (grade 1 or 2) younger students can just make the paper bag puppets and not do the writing activity.
Have created these so that the bunny ears hang over the edge of the bag.

Get to know your students very quickly with this fun Back to School House & simple writing activity.
There are two versions of this craft - a 5" and a 7".
Included is a template that the students will color, cut and then glue together! It's a great Back to School keepsake. Or, have your students make the School Houses and use them to decorate the classroom. Best of all, it is large enough to hold their writing activity when it is complete.
Made from regular photocopy paper (8 1/2 x 14), all students require are coloring pencils, scissors and glue (glue sticks recommended).

POP-UP Memorial Day Craft / Veterans Day Craft with Writing Activity
This is a great craft for students to complete for Memorial Day (and I included templates for Veterans Day!) So, two activities in one!
This craft has two main components:
- A base (made out of one piece of paper, 8 1/2 x 14) I have provided two base templates - Memorial Day and Veterans Day
- POP-UPs - 9 options to choose from, including male and female representation, graphics for Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force. On the back of each POP-UP is a simple writing activity.
Includes step-by-step instructions, graphics and templates needed to create this POP-UP Memorial Day or Veterans Day Craft.
Requires: Paper (I used regular photocopy paper but light cardstock is recommended), glue, coloring pencils and scissors.

POP-UP Remembrance Day Craftivity for United Kingdom
This is a great craft for students to complete for Remembrance Day - some of the templates mention UK, Flanders Fields, etc.
This craft has two main components:

Let the students design their own Hallowe’en Haunted House
What is included:
- roof (with latches to keep it closed)
- 1 door and 3 windows
- picket fence
- 2 ghosts, 1 cat, 2 bats
- tombstone and pumpkins
1 witch and 1 monster
- signs
- 2 simple writing activities have been prepared which can be placed inside the Haunted House. (they are interactive templates)
All the students have to do is color and glue and the Haunted House is created. The fun part will be to see how many variations will be created within your class!

POP-UP Memory Book for Grades 4-7:
This is a great craft for students to complete as a Yearbook! They create their own Memory Book - a POP-UP Book!
The easiest way to make this book ... just watch the video:
The Memory Book begins with 4 pieces of paper, each 8" x 8". These pieces of paper are folded and then glued together to create a 3D POP-UP Book that sits flat or when expanded, is 8" x 8" x 4" (height).

Two really fun options for your students to create a Back To School Backpack
Option #1 - Use all of the templates provided and students will craft their own backpacks.
Option #2 - Begin with a paper bag and use the templates provided to create a paper bag backpack.
Both great options ... you decide which is a better option for your students.
There are many options for writing activities included:
- on the straps
- on the front cover
- a secret pocket which students complete inserts and drop into the pocket
- 5 interactive templates created so you can have students tell you more about themselves, what makes them happy, what they are good at, a little about their family, a goal for the year, find someone who ... likes/can/wants to etc.
- have used graphics for boys and for girls
What you need:
Paper (light cardstock would be extra special), coloring pencils, glue, paper bags (if that is the option you choose)
I have included step by step directions and visuals to assist you in assembling these backpacks.

Look at the video and decide which backpack is better suited for your students - the paper bag backpack for the little ones, the regular backpack for students in the older grades.
You must save this file on your computer. Then open and print on 8 1/2 x 14 (legal size) paper. Otherwise, your product will not be set up properly.
Hope you love it! The completed backpack will stand about 8" tall. Use it all year long and have students complete items and drop them into their backpacks!

Agamographs and a simple writing activity for:

An agamograph is a picture that is made so that when you look from one angle you see one picture and then from the other angle the second picture emerges!
Using just 1 piece of paper, students color then cut and fold their agamograph. Then they can complete the writing activity and attach the agamograph to their finished work! So cute and easy!
